C-43 Reservoir: MIKE SHE Modeling

About: 
Lago provided modeling support for the C-43 Reservoir design of canals and structures. The MIKE SHE models developed in 2007 for the pre- and post-project conditions were rerun using in the latest software version with recommended options and parameters. Limited updates were made to the irrigation and MIKE11 components of the model based on review of water use and storm water permits. The revised model was then applied to evaluate different design alternatives.

Outcome:
The results of the Hydrologic and Hydraulic analysis modeling effort indicate that the C-43 Reservoir project will provide adequate protection to surrounding projects.
