LAGO Consulting & Services (LAGO) was created by two PhDs with solid experience in engineering and science and peculiar trajectory of dedication and perseverance. LAGO’s leaders represent that mix of knowledge and commitment where no obstacle is big enough to abort a mission and no mission is farther enough to make it unreachable. LAGO considers the initiative a central feature of leadership, especially when it is so properly driven that is hard to distinguish the leader from the followers.
Maria Cecilia Bravo, PhD, PE.
20+ years of experience on research/engineering projects related to hydrodynamics and multiphase flow dynamics. Dr. Bravo's skills include water resources and environmental studies as well as project management and business development and administration. Dr. Bravo holds a PhD in Physics and a Master of Civil Engineering (water resources) from the University of South Florida. As President of LAGO, she plays a leader role to keep the company competitive, reliable and promising.
Marcelo E. Lago, PhD.
20+ years of experience. Dr. Lago served as a Senior Water Resources Scientist at DHI-US prior to his position at LAGO. He gained experience as a software support specialist and trainer of DHI software and conducted multiple model calibrations and reviews. His experience includes project management, GIS applications, programming/coding, and numerical modeling for water resources and environmental studies. Dr. Lago holds a PhD in Applied Marine Physics from RSMAS -University of Miami-.
Ananta Nath, PE., D.WRE, F.EWRI
30+ years of experience leading or supervising interdisciplinary projects for hydrologic-hydraulic planning and modeling. His experience has included coordinating capital projects development from planning, design through construction. He is knowledgable of most of the state-of-the-art methods and models for hydrologic-hydraulic and water quality simulation. He has developed regular and Emergency operational scheduling for a drainage network of canals and water control structures.
