Resample ASC Files

Purpose
This tool allows the spatial resampling of an ASCII (*.asc) file by using the methods in the table below.

The tool also offers the option of extrapolating your data based on the nearest neighbor method.

Usage
The user must specify:

ASCII file name
Output file name and grid parameters
Resampling method and extrapolation option

After executing the resampling, a preview is shown, and the user can save the resampled ASCII file. If the ASCII file is too large to be processed, the tool will offer to process a reduced version with a coarser grid and average values.
The free version allows the user to save up to the first 50x50 elements of the grid.

Example of use
The two screens shown below can be obtained by processing the file “test1.asc” as provided with the installation of the Toolbox. The first screen corresponds to the case of resampling to a higher resolution, and the second one to the case of resampling back to the original resolution.

Registration
In order to have full functionality of this tool, the user needs to complete the registration by following these steps:

Go to the right-top corner in this tool, click on the “About” button, and copy the Mac address shown there.

In this tool’s webpage, use the box above the "Add to Cart" button to enter the Mac address. Then, click on the "Add to Cart" button right below to enter your payment information.

After these steps, the authorization code will be sent to the email that you provided during the PayPal payment process.
