Res11Read

Purpose
    This tool allows the extraction of information from the result (res11/res1d) files from MIKE11. This tool allows the user to conduct the following tasks:

• Creating shape files from calculation h/q points. This includes a point shape file with the center coordinates and a polyline shape file with segments between markers 1 and 3, and between left and right coordinates. Also, it creates a polyline shape file with segments between q points.
• Building the text file used in the “someresFILE” option to extract selected time series results.

Usage
    The user must specify the result (res11/res1d) file to be processed. After that, the tool will display the list of the calculation h/q points and the items contained in the res11 file. Then, the user can perform the following tasks:

• Creating shape files from calculation h/q points
• Building the text file used in the “someresFILE” option

The free version allows the user to save the first 25 elements of the shape files and to create the text file used in the “someresFILE” option with up to 3 rows.

Pre-requisites
    This tool requires MIKE ZERO to be installed. The tool has been tested successfully from the 2019 release on.​

Example of use
    The two screens shown below can be obtained by processing the file “test_case.res11” as provided with the installation of the Toolbox. The first screen shows the tab where the res11read command can be executed, and the second one shows the list of calculation h/q points.

​Registration
    In order to have full functionality of this tool, the user needs to complete the registration by following these steps:

​Go to the right-top corner in this tool, click on the “About” button, and copy the Mac address shown there.

In this tool’s webpage, use the box above the "Add to Cart" button to enter the Mac address. Then, click on the "Add to Cart" button right below to enter your payment information.

After these steps, the authorization code will be sent to the email that you provided during the PayPal payment process.
