GOES USGS ET to dfs0Purpose
This tool allows the conversion of the reference evapotranspiration (RET) or potential evapotranspiration (PET) data as processed by the tool “GOES USGS Download” into dfs0 files, i.e., one dfs0 file for each pixel ID. Also, the tool allows the modification of a SHE file that uses the station based option for the RET input (with a polygon shape file that contains those pixel IDs) to be linked properly to the created dfs0 files. Usage The user must specify a comma separated (csv) file with the RET or PET data obtained from the tool “GOES USGS Download”, e.g., “RET_processed.csv”. Then, the user can click on the button to create the corresponding dfs0 files. In the tab for modifying the SHE file, the user needs to specify the location of the dfs0 files created and the SHE file to modify. The free version allows the user to try this tool on the first pixel ID. Pre-requisites It requires MIKE ZERO 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017 or 2019 to be installed, but the DHI license is not necessary. Example of use The three screens shown below can be obtained by processing the file “One_NEXRAD_Pixel_RET_processed.csv” as provided in the Toolbox. The first screen corresponds to the conversion of the data from the csv file into a dfs0 file. The second one corresponds to the modification performed on the SHE file “One_NEXRAD_Pixel.she”, which is also available from the installation of the Toolbox. The third screen shows the link fixed in the SHE file. Registration
